The Briarbrook Community Improvement District was formed in 2010 to purchase and maintain real estate formerly known as Briarbrook Golf and Country Club. The BCID owns and operates an 18 hole public golf course, a 12,000 sq ft clubhouse, swimming pool and two tennis courts. The BCID is financed by a special assessment on real estate located within the District boundaries equal to 0.475 per $100 of assessed value. District residents enjoy free swimming pool and tennis court privileges, as well as reduced rate green fees and annual golf Memberships.
In 2011, the BCID initiated over $500,000 in capital improvements, including substantial rehabilitation to the clubhouse and swimming pool.
